My practice explores abstract seascapes in oil, inspired by the east coast of the Norfolk Broads. Walking meditations along Happisburgh and Caister beaches inform a vivid colour palette and layered process. Working across multiple canvases, I allow each piece to evolve intuitively, with traces of earlier marks and colours emerging through expressive, gestural surfaces.
