calling all artists.

Be part of our exciting new art gallery in the heart of Bungay, Suffolk.

Broad Street Gallery is a new exciting opportunity for artists to show and sell their work in the heart of Bungay, Suffolk. We are opening our doors on 8th June 2026. Like the Bell Gallery before us, we are offering rented space from which you can sell your artwork. The manning of the gallery is shared between the exhibitors on a rota basis.

The gallery contains approximately 38 linear metres of wall space. It can be shared comfortably by about six artists. There is some shared space. Exhibitions are usually for four weeks with hanging on the Sunday before the first week.

You can hire the whole gallery. This works well for a group of artists who wish to curate their own exhibition.

We provide good lighting, a professional hanging system (STAS), publicity via our website, Instagram, and printed leaflets for you to distribute. We encourage you to have a preview or “Meet the Artists” event, usually on the first Thursday evening. There will be some shelving and a few tables for small work, greeting cards and 3-D pieces, but 3-D artists must supply their own plinths. All artists are welcome to bring their own browsers for unframed work.

How to apply for space:

In order to ensure that the quality of work on display remains consistently high (and in order for us to build interesting group shows with compatible but varied artists) we ask you to apply by contacting us with your name, contact details, a short bio and artist’s statement, and 3 to 5 good quality images that are representative of your work (at least 1MB each). We will get back to you in due course. Once you have been accepted, we can discuss exhibiting opportunities, available dates, size of space, etc.

We look forward to hearing from you.
