Colin is a full time artist and a professional associate with the SAA (Support for All Artists) www.saa.co.uk.

He has loved art since childhood and over the years has received tuition from several professional artists, attending workshops and courses in watercolour, pastel, acrylic and oil painting; also, mixed media. During 2007 Colin started running art classes and workshops for an art school in Beccles, Suffolk. He took early retirement from the NHS during 2013, when his art commitments increased; teaching and exhibiting across East Anglia. Colin paints a wide range of subjects and seeks to avoid a stylised approach; helped by alternating between the mediums, moving between impressionistic and more detailed forms of painting as the fancy takes him.
