I work with cloth, stitch, drawing, and photography to capture moments in time and place. I often colour vintage domestic textiles as parts of the work which suggest home, family, work and lives lived. I enjoy the feeling of connection with the past evoked when handling these fabrics and when using traditional techniques in unexpected ways.

The qualities and textures of materials are used to record plants, wildflowers, grasses and the Norfolk/Suffolk landscape that surrounds me.

I have exhibited in the London area, the Midlands, Stavanger, Norway and locally in Norfolk and Suffolk.
